The Q1 Scientific facility is fully supported with a back up power generator, which cuts in automatically in the event of electricity loss resulting from any ESB strike. Each environmental chamber operates independently, with separate temperature and humidity controls and all chambers are continuously monitored by a computerised monitoring system with back up alarms and UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). Q1 Scientific staff have visibility 24/7 on the status of the stability chambers.
